It is a community non profit project, located near Monteverde, Puntarenas, Costa Rica. The Reserve has an extension of 310 hectares, covered by a majestic Cloud Forest, in which you can observe a great variety of plants, Orchids, trees, ferns, heliconias and others. The Children’s Eternal Forest (BEN) belongs to the Monteverde Conservation Association (ACM), a nonprofit Costa Rican conservation organization whose mission is “to conserve, preserve and rehabilitate tropical ecosystems and their biodiversity.”
Throughout the 30 years of its history, the MCA has promoted conservation through land purchase, environmental education, reforestation and restoration of degraded lands, sustainable development, ecotourism and scientific research.
